QA Automation Engineer Summary
I’m an IT graduate working as a QA Automation Engineer with experience on full-time Automated QA for a Silicon Valley company using Java and Selenium.
I’ve had 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched QA applications with Oracle technologies such as Java 8, PL/SQL, and others as C# and .NET Framework.
As well as 1 year of professional experience as a Software Engineer with NodeJS, Angular 9, Express. As well as personal experience with React and Electron. Both years I worked with Java 8 as the backend, using Spring boot for developing our Rest API on the second year.
These 3 years have all been focused 1on automation and Selenium.

Responsibilities:
Currently working on the QA Automation project for Justia where I develop automated tests using a Java framework with Selenium-based on Cucumber test cases. While working here I’ve learned a lot about managing Jenkins jobs, some networking, and experience with Unix/Linux terminals. I’m also working on projects involving technologies like Spring APIs, desktop applications with Electron, and relational databases like MySQL.
My main job here has been working on creating new tests and enhancements to the current Java project, continuously delivering new proposals and test cases for the web applications of the company.
QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
During my time working here, I developed client and server-side Java 8 applications using Spring boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Lombok, JPA, Hibernate, and Liquibase. These applications focus on the development of tools for automated testing, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Winium, and Rest Assured. As well as developing the front end with TypeScript, Angular 9 and NodeJS. I’ve also worked on earlier versions using C# and .NET Framework for the front end, as well as using various databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL. Working on these projects in Agile methodologies using Scrum and technologies such as Jira and Trello to track tasks and stories. I’ve also conducted several internal pieces of training, including API testing, GIT, HTML, and JavaScript, as well as managing training projects as Scrum Master for newcomers.
