Sonatafy Technology, Inc. ("Sonatafy," "we," "us") is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through sonatafy.com, our website forms and email communications, and our recruiting process. It does not cover information we process on behalf of our clients, which is governed by our client agreements.

• Information you provide, such as your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, and message, when you contact us, book a session, complete the Engineering Value Diagnostic, or sign up for email.

• Recruiting information, such as your resume, work history, education, skills, and interview and screening results, when you apply for a role. For candidates who receive an offer, we may also collect verification and background check information where permitted by law.

• Information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, and cookie identifiers.

We use personal information to respond to inquiries and schedule sessions, deliver Diagnostic results, send content and marketing communications, evaluate candidates and meet hiring obligations, operate, secure, and improve the website, measure and deliver our advertising, and comply with legal obligations.

The Engineering Value Diagnostic assigns a maturity band that describes an organization's practices. It is not used to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we process personal information based on your consent, steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and marketing our business, or our legal obligations.

We share personal information with service providers that support our business, such as hosting, analytics, marketing, scheduling, and recruiting service providers; with advertising partners through cookies and similar technologies; with Sonatafy team members in the United States and Latin America who need access for their role; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. Certain disclosures to advertising partners may constitute a sale or sharing under applicable privacy laws, and individuals may exercise applicable opt out rights as described below. We honor opt out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law.

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information for the purposes described above: identifiers, professional and employment information, education information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, Diagnostic and screening results, and, for candidates who receive an offer, background check information where permitted by law. Identifiers, internet activity, and approximate geolocation may be shared with advertising partners as described above. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of marketing, targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal information. Residents of Latin American countries, including Mexico and Brazil, have similar rights under local law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email info@sonatafy.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where permitted by law, you may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal our decision by replying to it. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Sonatafy is based in the United States. Our team and service providers may access or store personal information in the United States, Latin America, and other countries. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and associated risks.

The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
