The highlight of this project is the components that we have built. They work in such a way that we can declare a module as, e.g. importable, and then the behavior would appear automatically. This project was written with Ruby on Rails.

Description: Developing an assistance health system focused on both patients and doctors as the main users. These are the following modules that I have worked with:
A module that is responsible to present the results for the medical report concerning a previous exam list taken by the patient. This module we`ve done with Elixir. In another module, the patient has the possibility of checking if his health plan covers a list of desired exams. This module was written with Ruby.
Another work that I made with Ruby is the module for exam instructions that need to be followed prior to the exam’s appointment date. In this module, I coded an importer to upload exam information and the preparation instructions for each exam.
The main module, in which I also worked with Elixir is the orchestrator, a middleware that maintains some of the main data that we use throughout all the other modules and also keeps the references and addresses for all external services that our system consumes. In this module, I have done some interesting work with a routine that makes sure that the prices of certain noncovered exams by the health plans are always up to date according to a tertiary service.
